All aboard the Polar Express!

We took a ride on the Polar Express today! We walked over to Chets Creek Church and were able to watch the Polar Express on the big screen!
Our kiddos wore their pajamas to enjoy the movie!
We had some styling Spider-Man's!
AND pretty pretty princess!
We gave our students his or her own bell! We hope you hang these on your trees this year and years to come to remember this special year of Kindergarten.

Seasons of Giving Project

Each year, classes at Chets focus on giving through our Seasons of Giving Project. This year, each Kindergarten class adopted 2 Marines who are currently deployed to Afghanistan, to send care packages to for Christmas.

As a class, we collected a number of items such as snacks, candy, toiletries, and small games to send to our troops.

Before sending, we wrote letters to our Marines as well. Here are some pictures of our kiddos in action:
We made a book out of all the letters, added some wrapping paper, and sent the packages on their way!

We hope these packages bring a little joy to our troops who will be spending Christmas away from loved ones this year!
